Travel Tuesday: Buenos Aires
Buenos Aires, how I long to go there. I have never been to South America, but if I could go this would be the first stop on my list. I don’t know what has me so mesmerized by this city but there is a certain something that intrigues me to go and visit. Maybe it is the beautiful architecture or the Argentinean Tango. I would just love to go and explore the city. Learn a little spanish and travel around, getting the insiders guide on how to eat, play and dance like an Argentinean.

Trips I want to do again… Uganda
The summer of 2008 was a really special summer. Literally the weekend after I graduated from high school I travelled to Uganda. I went with my high school and an organization called Computers for Uganda. Where we were to install computers in primary and secondary schools in the southern part of the country. It was the first trip I would ever do with out my parents. And I seriously long to go back!
Our trip would last 3 weeks. We started in Kampala, then travel to Masaka, then down to Kabale. By the end of our trip we had installed computers in about 12 schools. Arriving in Uganda, I had no idea what to expect. Kampala is this busy city, Masaka has this beautiful country side and Kabale (which borders Rwanda) is hilly and absolutely breath taking.
The thing I remember the most was the dirt, it was this bright orangish red. I would walk around and it would stain my feet. I don’t know why I remember it, but whenever I do I get this smile on my face. It was just so different and beautiful. Other than the nature, the people of Uganda are truly some of the most wonderful people I have ever interacted with. So welcoming and so kind, I love talking with everyone I met! The teachers, the students, the people at the market, literally everyone! I still keep in contact with some of people I met along the way, which just shows how genuine and wonderful they are.
In the next 5 years, I would love to go back. I want to see the friends I have made, but I would also like to spend more time in Kabale. There was just something so magical about the nature there, I would love to explore further.

So in the next couple of weeks you, my lovely readers, will find out the destinations and some tips on how to travel. I’m starting with South America. Stay tuned…

Travel Tuesday: Paris
I have been wanting to go to Paris for a very long time. I love what France has to offer. The language, the food, the fashion, the je ne sais quoi.
I feel like every girl has the dream of going to Paris. There is just something about it! It has the reputation as the city of love. I think it would be a beautiful city to be in love in. It also is a fashion capital. With so many designers, I mean hello, Chanel. But it also has a lot of history and culture, with the different neighborhoods and the beautiful architecture. There is something for everyone.
I have this image of going and trying my very best of being Parisian chic, smoking a cigarette at a local cafe and immersing myself in everything Paris.
